Holy fish sauce, this book is amazing. Because of it, my to-cook list has grown to include things like Tom Som Kai Baan (“Village Chicken” Soup) and Yam Won Sen (Glass Noodle Salad). Every page has an ingredient I’ve never heard of or a cooking technique I never thought I’d try. For someone like me whose favorite food growing up was mac and cheese, Pok Pok’s recipes are a wonderful journey into the land of Thai street food. - Megan
